At Del Rancho Pop Warner, we go beyond the game—developing young student athletes with discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship while building character on and off the field. Our program provides a fun, competitive, and supportive environment where athletes learn valuable football fundamentals, leadership, and life skills that extend beyond the game of football.
We offer Age-Based teams from 9U through 13U. Whether your child is new to tackle football or an experienced athlete, Del Rancho Pop Warner offers a place to grow, compete, and be part of a hardworking, high-energy team.
5–13 year-old Cheer
Registration Opens March 1st 2026
The Del Rancho Pop Warner Cheer Program offers age-based teams for children ages 5-13, welcoming all skill levels—from beginners to experienced cheerleaders. Our program focuses on creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where athletes can develop cheerleading skills, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships. All cheer teams will participate in sideline cheering at football games on Saturdays for the season and also participate in Pop Warner Cheer Competitions.
Where do my registration fees go?
Del Rancho Pop Warner is a registered 501c3 Non-Profit organization and all board members, coaches, and staff are volunteers. The funds collected during registration and throughout the year go towards

Administrative expenses (website, taxes, marketing, insurance, live scans, etc.)

League expenses (field/facility rental for both practice and home games, WCC fees per team, referee and medic fees)

Football expenses (uniforms, helmets, shoulder pads, pants, practice gear, football equipment)

Cheer expenses (uniforms, Jamz camp, certifications, competition music, bows)

For over 50 years, Del Rancho Pop Warner (DRPW), formerly Rancho Bernardo Pop Warner, has proudly served Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch, and surrounding communities by offering youth football and cheer programs. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we offer financial assistance to ensure as many student athletes as possible can participate, regardless of financial circumstances.
