We’re excited to continue partnering with USA Football to certify our Pop Warner coaches. This ensures they teach safe and proper blocking and tackling techniques, keeping player safety our top priority. Coaching is a privilege and no coach is guaranteed a spot the following season no matter their record.

Rod Jones
13U Head Coach
Coach Rod is a dedicated father of five who is passionate about coaching youth sports. With over a decade of experience coaching Pop Warner football, Rod is known for his ability to motivate young athletes to reach their full potential on the field. His commitment to his players and his ability to instill a strong work ethic and sense of teamwork make him a highly respected coach in the community. Del Rancho Pop Warner is proud to have him as a head coach for a fourth season!
Tyrone Sharpe
13U Head Coach
Coach Tyrone is a seasoned football coach with over 17 years of experience mentoring young athletes in Albuquerque and Rancho Bernardo. In 2024 he served as an assistant coach in our program. He is grounded in agile leadership principles, focusing on building physical skill and mental resilience. His holistic approach blends coaching expertise with leadership development, inspiring athletes to excel both on and off the field. Del Rancho Pop Warner is happy to welcome him back to our program.
Khari Bankston
12U Head Coach
Coach Khari and his family are new to our Del Rancho Pop Warner Community but he has been coaching tackle football since 2012, as both an Offensive Coordinator and Head Coach. His love for the game of football stems from the opportunities it provides our players, staff and parents. He views football as a game that is uniquely positioned to maximize character building, love for community and teaching our players how to do hard things easier... such as live. Del Rancho Pop Warner is thrilled to welcome him to our staff!

Ben Nussbaum
11U Head Coach
Coach Ben is a passionate and dedicated youth football coach who brings energy, experience and heart to the field. His coaching philosophy centers around teamwork, discipline and a strong work ethic—values that translate far beyond the football field. Ben served as a head coach for our league the last three seasons and is looking forward to a successful fourth. Del Rancho Pop Warner is excited to have him back once again!
Stan Bracy
10U Head Coach
Coach Stan possesses a remarkable charisma and is often regarded as a player's coach. His passion and enthusiasm for the game are truly contagious. The fundamental principals he upholds as a coach include hard work, accountability, respect and teamwork. Stan is convinced that football and life share many similarities. With his vast experience in youth sports, he is eagerly anticipating leading the 10U team toward a enjoyable and successful season. We are excited to welcome him to Del Rancho Pop Warner!
