🏆ROAD TO POP WARNER NATIONALS BEGINS! 🏆

​

OVERVIEW
Pop Warner Cheer teams compete in organized events where they perform a 2.5-minute routine featuring stunts, jumps, and tumbling. Teams are judged on difficulty and execution, with top performers earning recognition and trophies in their division.

​📅 COMPETITION SEASON

  • Runs from mid-October to December.

  • Some teams may continue into January for non-Pop Warner competition events.

  • Practice attendance is mandatory for all rostered athletes.


📣 POP WARNER COMPETITION COMMITMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
By registering your athlete, you agree to the following:

📅 MANDATORY ATTENDANCE

  • Regular attendance at practices is required for both individual and team success. Missing practice can impact not only your child’s performance but also the entire team’s routine.

🏆 POP WARNER FIRST

  • This is a National Pop Warner program, and all athletes are required to prioritize Pop Warner events and commitments.

🚪 VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL

  • If an athlete chooses not to participate in their qualifying Pop Warner competition events, it will be considered a voluntary withdrawal from the season.

  • No refunds will be issued for voluntary withdrawals.

💰 OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES

  • The registration fee covers basic participation only.

  • Additional costs—such as travel, hotels, and competition-related expenses—are the responsibility of the participant.

🤝 FUNDRAISING

  • Teams and athletes are strongly encouraged to participate in fundraising efforts to help cover extra costs.

  • We offer a variety of fundraising opportunities throughout the season.

  • Have ideas? We welcome new fundraising suggestions and sponsorship opportunities!

🎟 NON-POP WARNER COMPETITION EVENTS

  • Athletes may be invited to participate in non-Pop Warner competitions only if they and their team have fulfilled all Pop Warner competition obligations.

POP WARNER AFFILIATED COMPETITIONS (STANDARD TRACK TEAMS)​​

West Coast Conference Locals Competition

  • Sunday, October 11th, 2026

  • Location: San Diego Convention Center, 111 Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101

  • Teams that place 1st or 2nd will advance and attend WESCON Regional Competition.

  • Please plan for additional parking and spectator admission fees 

​​​WESCON Regionals Competition

  • Sunday, November 8th, 2026

  • Location: San Diego Convention Center, 111 Harbor Dr, San Diego, CA 92101

  • Teams that place 1st or 2nd advance and are expected to attend Pop Warner Nationals.

  • Please plan for additional parking and spectator admission fees

​Pop Warner Nationals

  • December 4-11, 2026

  • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

  • Estimated travel costs: $1,500-$2,000 per cheerleader.

NON-POP WARNER COMPETITIONS– (EXTENDED/HYBRID TRACK TEAMS)

$ - Competition event costs not included in player registration fees.   

​JAMZ Bid Challenge $69 per athlete registration fee

  • Sunday, November 22, 2026

  • Location: Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802

  • Please plan for additional parking and spectator admission fees. Hotel accommodations may also be needed for families choosing to stay overnight rather than travel to and from the event the same day.

​JAMZ Holiday Showcase $69 per athlete registration fee

  • Sunday, December 13, 2026

  • Location: Anaheim Convention Center, 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802

  • Teams that are unable to attend the JAMZ Bid Challenge, have the option to qualify for JAMZ Youth Nationals by attending this competition.

  • ​Please plan for additional parking and spectator admission fees. Hotel accommodations may also be needed for families choosing to stay overnight rather than travel to and from the event the same day.

​JAMZ Youth Nationals $145 per athlete registration fee

  • January 22-25, 2027

  • New requirements for cheer teams attending JAMZ Youth Nationals are being determined and we will update this page shortly with more details.

  • Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (The Orleans Hotel)

  • Estimated travel costs out of pocket +$500* (2-night hotel + admission. Travel preference not included in estimate)
